New Hampshire Senate District 10
Monday, October 5:
I’m attending a breakfast celebrating the achievements of the NH Career & Technical Student Organizations. I will meet with students from the following organizations:
- FCCLA Family, Career, and Community Leaders of America
- TSA Technology Student Association
- FBLA Future Business Leaders of America
- FFA Future Farmers of America
- HOSA Health Occupations Students of America
- Skills USA
Each group will be speaking and I, along with with other legislators and education leaders in technology and education, look forward to honoring their achievements.
I’ll be participating in “Step Up for Kids Day” on the steps of the Capital. Their mission is one that resonates for all of us: Every child matters.
Later I’ll attend the Business Tax Credit study committee as senate committee member, followed by the New Hampshire Healthy Kids Annual meeting.
In the evening I’ll be following-up on constituent issues.
On Tuesday the 6th I’m chairing the School Building Aid Grant Commission and I’ll be working on legislation for 2010.
On Wednesday I’m attending the Permissible Fireworks Committee meeting as senate committee member
And on Thursday I’ll chair the Senate Education Committee meeting for the purpose of discussing Senate Education referred bills from the 2009 session.
