Stephen was a remarkable young man who served his country for more than 16 years putting the safety of our lives before his.
I am humbled to recognize this young man and to honor him as a Marine and a member of our community.

Today is the eighth anniversary of the 9/11 attacks. Events in New York, Washington, D.C., and Shanksville, Penn. will mark this somber occasion.
Let us take a moment to honor the 2,752 who lost their lives, and pay tribute to the volunteer spirit of the hundreds of emergency workers who helped rescue thousands from the towers and recover bodies from the burning wreckage.
And let us not forget the families who grieve for the loss of their loved ones. As a mother, daughter and sister, my heart goes out to all those courageous people who have been asked to go one with their lives in spite of the suffering they have endured.

Senator Kelly and Tom Eaton recently met at the studios of Cheshire TV for a debate moderated by Dan Mitchell and Guy MacMillin.
We think Senator Kelly was the clear winner in articulating her vision for the future of the state and laying our her plans for the next two year.
But, you don't have to take our word for it as it is being rebroadcast several times over the next few days.
U.S. Rep. Paul W. Hodes, D-N.H., and state Sen. Molly M. Kelly, D-Keene, spent about four hours at the plant speaking with NRC and Entergy officials about everything from the cooling towers’ structure to how the plant handles nuclear waste.
